About the event
In scientific environments, leadership is often associated with expertise, authority, or presenting ideas. Yet some of the most powerful leadership capacities lie in skills that are practiced less often: deep listening, thoughtful reflection, and authentic sharing.
This interactive workshop introduces a circle-based format in which participants practice listening and speaking as intentional leadership skills. In a structured and facilitated circle, each participant has the opportunity to share perspectives while others practice attentive, non-interruptive listening.
Together we will explore how:
Deep listening can strengthen collaboration and intellectual exchange
Reflective sharing can foster trust and psychological safety in research teams
Circle structures can support more inclusive and participatory leadership
