About the event
Great leadership and self-leadership isn’t about having all the answers. Often, it’s about asking good questions and being able to listen deeply to the answers. Coaching skills can help you foster independent thinking in your supervisees, navigate difficult conversations with more clarity, and even improve the way you give and receive feedback. In addition, this skill set is the foundation for collaborative and sustainable learning environments.
In this 90-minute interactive workshop, you will learn:
· How to listen effectively to uncover “the gold”
· How to ask powerful questions that lead to sustainable solutions
· How to partner with others to build trust and confidence in their own decision-making
Through peer coaching in small groups (2-3 people), you will practice both coaching and being coached on a real topic of your choice. Expect intense, hands-on learning, with a live demonstration to get you started.
